Zowie, that chassis looks like new. The 12-A-58 is my favorite console in a house full of radios.
Your dial lettering looks just about perfect. Mine has begun to flake a little here and there. I have heard of people clearcoating the back as a preventive, but the penalty for messing that up seems dire, so I have left it alone for now.
Take it easy on that grille cloth, but you probably know that already.
