I would say it is a 12" CRT, perhaps a metal-cone 12UP4/12UP4A. The controls and bezel match those in the pictures of 1950 Zenith models on the TV History Web site (and the set I own, I am pretty sure, but I cannot see its front panel right now), and there are no 10-inch sets listed for 1950. It is definitely not a 16-inch or larger CRT.
