I was the one that quoted that. There is a world of difference between the small chassis Motorola sets, IE TS914, 918 and varients of same. The ETS908 uses shunt regulation and separately derived focus ETC. The small chassis in question uses focus from the second anode source and some kind of pulse or feedback HV regulation.
