That Packard Bell set has some cosmetic characteristics similar to my 1959 HMV F5-A6 B&W set http://www.troysvintagevideo.741.com/hmv.html and many other Aussie made B&W sets made in the late 50s , the wood colour, the positioning of the knobs (except mine are at the bottom) and most notable the blue/violet/grey tint colour of the plastic bezel behind the safety glass. I wonder if the colour is due to age of the glass?
