Why am I seeing no voltage on the anode plate?
My first ever attempt at reading plate voltage

I set my DMM to DC ___---

I connected the black lead to the - on the rectifier

I connected the red lead to the EL95 PIN5.

At first I counted wrong but after I figured it out I got the connection correct
