LOL - nice. Now, I'm curious to pop open the Admiral 5R37 radio and see what's inside.
I just went out to the garage and took a closer look at the "Educator". It turns out there's actually a really solid looking radio inside that beat up cabinet.
It's a model CH 155A according to the label. No service info anywhere online that I can find.
The tube lineup reminds me of a late 40s design, but I think it's from the mid 50s. The 6U5 eye tube is a nice touch.
