I guess I never thought about audio quality in TV's, I just always accepted the fact that most of the money went into getting the picture up there.
That being said, I have several sets with different audio sections to them. A CTC-5 with woofer and bi-directional tweeters, another set with a pair of 6" speakers, but oddly the CT-100 with it's lowly single ended 6AQ5 sounds best to me. Very neutral, good mid range response.
Can you imagine what a CT-100 would be like with a pair of 10's?
