I have a Heathkit IT5320 that is good for all the cautious stuff like raising heater voltage.
In 34 years, I trashed only one CRT with it, a 1971 GE "N1" non-delta tube that had a very stubborn blue gun.
It uses a series of incandescent lamps as a current limiter.
Does anyone else have experience with this one?
