The 8PCS41 was in production in both 1948 and 1949.
The 8PCS41 built in 1949 carried same set of chassis as the less expensive 9PC41, with most, if not all, 1949 built 8PCS41 sets having the remote switch, the knob of which is visible in the photograph.
