The trick with Youtube to minimize or eliminate streaming interruptions, is to start then quickly pause the video. It will buffer all the way to its end on your computer. Then, resume watching it. You can typically see a three-colored stripe below the video. The brightest color is how far you watched, the medium is how far it has buffered into your computer (you want this one to go all the way to the right), and the darkest color is the unwatched and unbuffered area.
