I figured that out earlier this summer after moving to my new house.
I was worried about carpet tack scratches, but none occurred. We were going to hire movers for mom's gigantic dresser(roundy combos only wish they could be so big and heavy!), but with team work and that technique we were able to move it.....It had all the drawers removed and STILL was WAY harder to manage than any of my TVs!
