I doubt there is anything special about that cap. If you replace it with 3 caps it would be fine.

I have looked high and low online and can't seem to find any place that actually has the GC 8284 in stock. Most of them are quoting a 8-10 week lead time, which usually means they have no idea when or if that tool will be in stock again. What is your local source?
