Thanks for the input. I have ordered from Encompass, MAT and MCM in the past and had no issues; my concern is that none of them even claim to have the original Sanyo part, so I'm expecting a generic Chinese equivalent.
I found that tvrepairkits.com will sell the
STK392-570 alone for $25/chip which is more in line with what I paid at Acme for the genuine Sanyo STKs for my Panasonic a couple of years ago, vs. $10-16 for the "knockoff" chips. The -570 should be an acceptable replacement for the -560. They claim to have over 900 chips in stock.
I saw a few good reviews of tvrepairkits on a site called SiteJabber and one bad review on Yelp. Anyone here actually ordered from them?
