OMG OMG OMG! What do you guys think of this 1954 C2246 21" as a possibility for a replacement chassis for my C2226?

Does anyone have sams data on this model or possibly know the chassis number? The guy says the tube needs to be replaced, but otherwise was in working condition. He wants $275 which seems a might steep, plus I'd have to drive from Arkansas to Wisconsin to pick it up... BUT, if it has a chassis that will work and is in the condition that's described, I'd do it in a heartbeat.
