Last night I decided to tackle this little radio. The biggest challenge turning out to be just getting the darn PCB out of the cabinet!
I had to carefully pry loose two tri-mount fasteners on the speaker side and unsolder a few wires going to the speaker and battery terminals before I could work it loose.
Most of the electrolytics are completely shot. This should measure 5uF not 216 pF!
Here it is recapped. I popped in some fresh AA batteries and t works just fine
Next up I'll do a little alignment.
