First, where is the chassis number on this set (TS-902)? My set has no model number on the back cover, and no obvious evidence it ever had one. There is no tube location diagram on the cabinet or back cover, but ther is a paper label cube chart for the color circuits pasted to the vertical color chassis.

Here is what the Motorola service lit. says.

2 main chassis types:
Ts-902 (VHF)
TS-902Y (UHF)
Chassis coding system:
A-00 The original production chassis
A-01,02 etc minor electrical changes to the A version chassis
B-00 First major production changes to the original chassis
B-01,02 etc minor electrical changes to the B version chassis
Prefixes such as W,R,V,T etc mechanical changes

Example: chassis number could be TS-902YA-01W

(I gotta proof read these posts better....)

I would be interested to see the chassis numbers correlated with the serial numbers :-)
