I also see that the CRT was replaced with a Sylvania. A better chance of it being good. The plastic crumbs are probably from the yoke.  |
It looks like this set also uses dc coupling from the video detector all the way to the CRT cathode. A practice most manufactures had abandoned by the mid 50's.
