Definitely an uncommon set. It was one of the first, last, and only CRT HDTVs made before consumer preference for rear projectors and flatscreens asserted itself.

I have the 34" bigger brother (got it cheap as an ex-floor model circa '03-'04) and it's worked well for me. The two caveats are that it predates 720P being a standard which makes it difficult to use with game consoles (it has 480I/480P/1080I plus NTSC) and the inputs are exclusively component, which is starting to become hard to find on new equipment. But it makes a gorgeous 1080i picture off DirecTV or Blu-ray.

And yeah, it's easily a 2-man job to lift the thing.
