Nice diamond in the rough. My Grandpa worked at the Camden plant when that was made.
I have a nice and similar chassis for a 5T6 and would pay $$$ just for a cabinet to put it in.
That is just good enough looking to be a routine and successful cabinet restoration.
The grill cloth looks original too.
Please post or make video of that when you can.
The veneer work is tricky but it looks like you have been spared it could be much worse.
