If it means anything, my CTC5 Wingate sat in the same spot in a mansion for 50+ years being very well kept (it's mint) and the tube was full of air. The filaments went dark very quickly after they lit  but now I have a like new AXP for it that took four years to be in the right place at the right time. I really really hope this one is good too.
