That was one of the higher end models.
Sylvania started building minimal design sets starting in 1955. PC board, hot chassis sets, even on their higher end models. They were also building private label sets for awhile.
The fancy cabinet, World's Fair models, had the same basic chassis, that the 17" BOTL portable had.
All show and no go! Poor value for the money.
