[Tubejunke]

I was at the Danville Goodwill Store about a week ago to drop off a donation and noticed at least 100 TVs on skids behind the store. I think that they don't know what to do with them, and they asked me if I wanted to take them. Of course I told them no. Although I wouldn't mind spending a day out there robbing the higher voltage capacitors out of the power supplies, but it's easier just to order what I need for my 40s-60s sets.

Anyway, I guess there are a few folks out there as time progresses who are interested in this type of thing. I guess with the advent of the flat screens, anything with a vacuum tube, if only a c.r.t. will become interesting to a new generation of tv nuts. Keep the dream alive!
