Wonder if going inside and maybe some padding AROUND the CRT would do anything to lessen any chance of it bouncing out of any brackets. Like some heavy fluffy stuff between the chassis and the yoke?

The nature of my collection makes me unfamiliar with "big and heavy" sets...and transporting them. All my sets could be just arranged in the floor and back seat of any car....and be relatively safe as long as I didn't do some idiot thing moving them across town. I would try and carry any big set like this "face down" since I don't really know any better.

My current "holy grail" is trying to get enough parts together to get a Singer TV6U going. Been kicking my ass for nearly a year now :-P
