Yes, it's the R605 (63-7073). It is wire wound and you can hear the wire broke near the full CCW position and the value jumps all over the place in that are. I don't see the body soldered at all. Just these two little ears that slip through the convergence board and get a little bend to hold in place.

My brother has a large '40 iron that is wide and hot enough to heat all three posts at the same time. That should help with the removal. He then has three clip on heat sinks for the new pot's legs and will heat the posts and press new one in place.
