A 33GY7 and a 17DW4A I have are Korean - Goldstar (LG), so they entered the tube market somewhere, perhaps Mexico or Canada. I don't recall anything but US, Japanese, and European tubes in all my years of servicing sets. No markings beyond type, the GS logo, and KOREA.
