Yes that sure looks like it. If you havent yet check everything
in the ABL from the tripler on. Also see what effect the ABL
control has on the lines. Also see if its at #115 at 9-90 module.
Should be a nice clean horz pulse there.
You can also disable the ABL by grounding the B of Q201 &
see if the lines go away.
If not its getting in somewhere else but this still is an
important clue.

Okay, in the circuit around Q201 there are a number of resistors and on capacitor which was changed when I recapped the chassis. From there it goes up to the chromatic switch with a connected coming from the base of the 3rd Video Amp. I'm going to scope the base. The other direction goes to the limiter pot and then connected to the tripler. In that circuit there's a Zener diode of which I have a spare. My knowledge is limited so I don't know if or how that diode fits in.

So where down the line should I scope beyond the base of Q203? Is there a point around the limited pot I can check?

Oh, and I know it's not the transistor itself as I had an NOS and swapped it with the same results.
