A suggestion - get an external EMI filter, as you can't do much with the dishwasher. TDK makes an excellent one - ANF-105 (max 5 Amp) or the 106 (max 6 Amp). I have two, scrounged after my office did away with a beast Ricoh copier/printer that gave all the CRT monitors fits when running. I use them on an older plasma set that is susceptible to EMI from a crappy cable box, and the other is on my router/modem, a problem rooted out when a temporary roommate ( a real geek) pointed out some packet problems that I still don't comprehend.

Attached is the only entries I could find for repair tips for the 1926R. Your set is one of those affected by the bad solder in the IF sections.

Cheers,
