Lesson learned here is that many people don't just give you things out of the goodness of their heart and because they want to help you. They do it waiting for the perfect opportunity to hold that over the person's head that received the "gift". If I give you something or help you out with something, it's because I want to do it and not because I'm expecting anything in return for it.
