That price is ludicrous and that set is still fairly common. If you really want one of these, be patient and one will turn up that is much cheaper.
They kill me when they say crap like "we have to get this much so we can make money and stay open." Guess what, they won't be making any money if they sit there and no one buys them because they are ten times overpriced. If the shop overpaid for them; then, that's their problem and let it be a lesson for them in the future.
