I did a quick test using that remote on a ctc-9, with a AA battery (I don't know what voltage it takes, and the AA fits where the 4.5V battery I have in the older ctc-9 remote is too small to fit in this remote). The tint-down moves the tint up, the color-down moves the color up, the volume-down moves the channel, the channel moves the volume-up. The tint-up, color-up, and vol-up do nothing. The range is only a few inches from the receiver, but that might be due to the battery.
