HA! I had one these in the mid-90's (Southwestern Bell). Got it off some friends. But I made a little mod by where I took the long wire and helically wound it around a piece of wood dowl about 2 and half foot long. Put that in an old Christmas tree stand and I have to say reception was brilliant.
I used to speak to my then girlfriend (now wife) and listen to her on my old GEC McMichael valve radio!
