RCA XL100 ghost

Hi and thank you gentle men for letting me join your group! I too collect vintage tv's and radio's and even jukeboxes, most of the televison sets that I have are Zenith's from the 80's and one from 1955 but that is another thread.
Anyway I have this 13 inch RCA that I acquired many years ago from a family member who I don't think ever used it until I got it, it is a ED-339-WR with a CTC 97KB chassis and a 13VAYP22 CRT, it works great and I still have the original remote for it, the problem with it is that a while back out of the blue the pictures started to ghost (looks like its in 3D ), I have tried other sources like a VCR and even rabbit ears on a digital converter and it still does it.
Once in a while it will work just fine but then after a while it goes right back.
I am guessing this is a tuner issue but am not sure how to go about repairing this type of tuner.
Anybody have any ideas and what if any issues did this model of set have??
thanks again
Kenny.
