My office at home is a eclectic mix of 1920's - 1950's and modern.
I must have 25 radios, mostly table tops, and 4 B&W TVs in my office.
One of the radios is a console radio and two are chair sides.
Two of the TVs are Zenith porthole cabinet TVs. Also have a speaker
collection and an old Underwood typewriter.
The "modern" aspects of my office are that I have a flat-panel TV, two PCs,
a desk, and two recliners. Can't see myself getting rid of the PCs or the
flat-panel TV but am thinking of getting rid of the two recliners and the desk,
then replacing them with a 1950-ish couch and an 50-ish overstuffed chair.
Wife and I attend estate auctions and from time time we see those old
overstuffed 50-ish couches.
The room sounds more cluttered than it really is - I use the chair-side radios
as end tables too, and my bookcase holds many of my radios. Still, it could
use a good pruning to achive "Feng Shui" mood reministic of the 1950's.
Like Tom mentioned, I do worry about how my wife or son will be able
to get rid of all my crap:-)
