Another advantage of using the Philco manuals is that the little numbers on the boards match the Philco part numbers in the manuals.

I know Bob has addressed this, but every time I look at that setup, I can't help but wonder if there isn't some kind of connector that could be soldered & shrinkwrapped to the ends of the board connect wires that could then be plugged/unplugged directly to the board studs...like a loose octal socket female pin?......something that would make good contact
