If your building has three phase power, it's not that big of a problem, as most motors used in France were 220/380, 50HZ. At 60HZ., the motor speeds will be 120% of nameplate rating.
If there's no three phase available and if the motors are smaller than 5HP, you can get Variable Frequency drives for single phase. Or you can get a rotary phase convertor.
My vote is for the VFD.
