There are 2 sets of contacts on the back of the switch. And someone definitely messed with them in the past. Not original solder, but does not appear that the switch has been disassembled at any point. It is possible that the shaft was taken apart and reassembled improperly. If you watch my video the off position of the knob does not match up with the off "mark" at the 9 o'clock position on the control panel. My other Admiral console. When it is off, the knob position is horizontally lined up from 9-3 o'clock position. This one is off, which is fishy. Is there even a way to remove the shaft and put it back in incorrectly so it would cause it not to line up with the stock off position and to give a backward reading on a meter??
