Hey guys, one more question about installing the new switch. I have been able to identify all the wiring on the old switch and how it should transfer to the new switch. Everything looks good except for one thing. On the old switch there is a 270K resistor going from pin "A" to pin "D." The only resistor of that value in the area is R501. See the attached close up photo of the schematic. From the look of the schematic, I think that resistor should come off of pin "A" and go directly to chassis ground. Do not see how it would connect to pin "D?" Pin "D" does have a separate wire going to ground. So does the resistor off pin "A" get to chassis ground through pin "D," and because of the dual functionality of the switch this is not an issue?

So I guess my question boils down to, is the resistor off pin "A" okay getting to chassis ground off of pin "D?" Or should that resistor go to chassis ground separately and not connected to pin "D?"

Thanks.
