I resonate with that "Throwback" title as well, and proud of it!! I swear I was born in the wrong decade. Oh, to have been a vacuum tube engineer!!

i was interested in tubes when my fellow electronics students were mostly interested in digital electronics and microprocessors.

I am a VK'er also, but have never put up a real project, just sharing in the stories about the glory days, which I was at the tail end of in the 1970's.

This is a GREAT forum, with lots of brilliant minds.
