the tube and hybrid sets were reasonably good.i had a hybrid that had a fine picture,comparable to any zenith or sylvania of the day.exceptionally good.we bought a roundie in early 1966.it lasted at least 10 years with 11 to 12 hours use daily.it was still working when we let a neighbor have it.by the time sylvania bought them,philco was just a memory.i worked on many of the ford car radios and they were good performers.
