I paid about $150 for a 1964 Motorola with 23 original tubes and 11 speakers, but I checked it first and its VM record changer worked, just the cabinet needs some TLC, so it was used consistently and probably gently.

Unfortunately a few lucky folks have gotten a few hundred bucks for the tubed consoles, which causes others to assume they have a goldmine.

I got an 1964 Admiral very similar to that Zenith in a bit rougher shape for $50.
But it had most tubes replaced and needed recapped. It still has an issue in teh FM discriminatr.
