@Chris: the TV is a Teleavia P111 "Panoramic", brainchild of french industrial designer Philippe Charbonneaux, read about his career here:

The receiver was an 819 line VHF model. An adaptor kit was produced to make it a dual standard set with 625 lines UHF when the second french TV channel came on the air in 1964.
The TV is a much sought collector item, a non-working but aesthetically presentable model currently sells for circa 1000 Euros on the local market.
