Good that your CRT came back,. Those 90 degree deflection tubes are pretty tough. I have the big brother of your 17 incher.
Sandy is right, there is not much to these, so its doubly important to make sure what few parts there are - are good.
Mine is a crosley 21" floor model H21comuc . I have replaced all but the most hard to reach paper caps, which are in the Hor osc. It makes a nice raster but Horiz is freq off. My yoke looks worse and I was able to pull the whole business out of the cabinet since the chassis and CRT is mounted on a slide-out board.
PM me if you need a schematic, l have 1954-56 folders from Crosley. Very good info.
BTW, Crosley was made by Avco in Cincinatti. Powel and Lewis Crosley sold the appliance and electronics business right after the war to make cars.
