I'll do that in a couple days. Out of a clear blue sky, my two boys, ages 11 and 14, have decided they want to get into TV and radio restoration like their dad and seem to have a voracious appetite for it. My 14 year old just recapped a Bendix 636C radio, and my 11 year old decided that he wants to take on restoring this Admiral 10" console that I was going to use for parts. I gotta say, these kids have some soldering skills....their work is pretty darn neat
We'll see if this lasts, but based on the last week, it just might. I think they're burned out of video games and are looking for a new outlet. Nick, my 11 year old, soldering iron in hand, said "you know Dad, now I get why you do this. This is FUN."
