A good set BUT with the "dead set" symptom probably best to
avoid it. Either something in the HV failed or the switching
supply failed. If it were free & you can get rid of it for free
it would be a good learning tool. Of course sometimes you
get lucky & its a fuse, cold joint etc but dont count on it !!!
This IS from the NAP family, Sylvania, Philco, Magnavox,
Phillips. Not a true Phillips, IIRC you are in Canada & IIRC
Phillips sold there own sets there once.
