I would have gone for Mouser, but the excel form which just radios has, allowed me to input the whole bill of materials very rapidly. I started doing the same with Mouser and the Panasonic caps, but it seems like every second value has to come from another series and another catalog page, and way too much clicking back and forth - I wanted to get everything ordered as rapidly as possible, and found just radios to be easier.

I think i will try that really cheap supplier for an easier to work on TV. I have a Sharp made RCA New Vista 12" portable which seems like the perfect place to try some of the el-cheapo caps.

With Mouser, I just type "ECQ" in the search box, choose capacitors, choose Panasonic, and choose the voltage. I always choose 630V, as the caps are small, and replacing a 200 or 400 volt cap with a smaller 630 just makes sense. After choosing 630 volts, all of the ECQ caps are displayed (.001 to 2.2uf), and I CTRL-click the values I need, apply the filter, and have one page of parts I am ordering. I've always ordered from a laptop, and cannot speak about ordering from a phone or tablet - dunno why anyone would even try, with so much info, it's important to get the whole screen in one shot.

For electrolytics, I do have to filter a bit more, as they have more than one physical size for some value/voltages. This is key when replacing caps on a circuit board - too tall, or too fat, and it won't fit.

For Canadians, Future Electronics has LOTS of caps, and at good prices. They, like Mouser, deal with OEMs and distributors and offer the best quantity prices for stuff. I used to get Nichicon film caps from them until Mouser started up with the Panasonics. The Nichicons are in my CTC-16 and my 721TS.

BG Micro in Texas also got some business from me lately - fast shipping too. I ordered from them way back in 1995 (catalog) and found them again on the web when looking for a MOSFET - they beat everyone else on that, even the Counterfeit Chinese Peddlers on eBay.

Cheers,
