All 9-27 boards came as kit with shield & 1/4' screw. Usually
marked 9-27 X IIRC. Your set should have had one from the factory.
There is another version but I dont remember the part #, looks
very different.
The C line sets had a different vert module but wont sub, the
controls are off board. 9-83 may be the only one as the D & E
line sets were it for flat chassii. Newer uprights all used
9-92 / 9-147 totally different till the in-line CRT's came out
& the 9-120 series came out.
The big thing to watch for is the 9-57-VCR. Its a newer hoz
module piggy backed on the old style. Cures the flagging
problem on VCR's. If you do find one be sure the right thing is
in the box, NOT just a 9-57 dud. Also I want to see one so
we can make some up.
