I recommend not to substitute 350-450V capacitors for 150V ones on any AC-DC chassis. The so-called "universal" power supply uses a half-wave rectifier, and the 150V capacitors were designed to live with the ripple current. 450V capacitors were designed to work with full wave rectifiers and simply couldnīt cope with the half-wave ripple, so they failed miserably pretty soon. And one was left wondering why.
