I recently acquired this rather uncommon '57 Magnavox portable, model MV116, I believe. It's unusual in that the top half is ribbed copper. What attracted me to it the most is that it's the exact same "Marilyn Monroe" model set that was taken from her Brentwood home when she died. That actual set sold for 50K at Christies in 1999 and is at the MZTV museum in Toronto. It's just an adequate performer with a chassis resto.
