Never mind, found a speaker pic in a thread on philcoradio.com that clearly shows the output transformer mounted on the speaker. Also learned that the Nostalgia Air scan of the schematic and parts list is darn near unreadable in places but apparently the Bietmans is good if you can find it...I might have Bietmans on CD somewhere...now where did I put those? [mutters and rummaging sounds recede into the distance]
