The wood bleach I bought came in 2 bottles. I don't know what was in bottle #1, but bottle #2 contained strong Hydrogen Peroxide and that is what bleached the color of the wood and made areas that were lighter in color than the sourounding area.
Sounds like the product you found was better than what I got at Ace.
